Two established names, one Corby operation.
Wise Group is the name that now carries the work previously done as Wise Trucking and TJG Logistics. Same yard, same people, same vehicles — brought together so customers deal with one business for transport, repairs and storage.
The rebrand
Why Wise Trucking and TJG Logistics became Wise Group.
For years the haulage ran under one name and the logistics and storage side under another. Customers who used both got two invoices, two contacts and two sets of paperwork for what was, in practice, one team in one yard.
Bringing Wise Trucking and TJG Logistics together as Wise Group tidied that up. Nothing was sold and nobody left — the fleet, the workshop, the warehouse and the office staff are the same. What changed is that a customer storing pallets with us and running loads with us now has one account, one point of contact and one conversation.
The experience behind it has not changed either: more than thirty years in general haulage, most of it earned on exactly the kind of work other operators find inconvenient.
How we work
The customer is the person who has to explain it to theirs.
Most of our customers are not buying transport for themselves — they are buying it on behalf of someone further down the chain who is expecting a delivery. Everything we do is built around keeping that promise on their behalf.
Answer the phone
Someone who knows your account picks up during office hours. No ticket number, no queue, no being passed between departments.
Say what is true
If a delivery is going to be late you will hear it from us first, with a revised time — not an hour after the customer has already called you.
Price it straight
A rate with the assumptions written down. We would rather lose a job on price than win it and renegotiate later.
